Bharath Ane Nenu:

The political drama minted crores at the box office and gave superstar Mahesh Babu a much-needed break. The movie is currently the highest grosser in Mahesh’s career.

Mahanati:

The epic biopic was applauded for portraying the less-explored side of the finest actress south India has ever produced. The tale of a legendary actress, Savitri made us fall in love, made us laugh and also cry.

Krishnarjuna Yuddham:

The Nani starter released amidst huge expectations but fell short of the hype surrounding it and ended up as a below-par affair. Nani’ s dual role antics couldn’t come of much use for this movie.

Nela Ticket:

Ravi Teja had a disappointing outing with Nela ticket as the movie was crushed by all sections of the audience for its dismal content. This movie is one of the poorest attempts of the year.

Officer:

Everyone laid huge expectations on this movie as it marked the get-together of Nagarjuna and Ram Gopal Varma after 28 long years. However, the movie’s final output was nowhere near Siva.

Naa Peru Surya:

Allu Arjun’s action entertainer had a decent first half but the lackluster second half killed the movie, resulting in a box office debacle. The movie put up below par numbers at the Tollywood box office.

Sammohanam:

The interesting point is that this movie bagged positive reviews but the box office reports were just above average. This sensible love story was rated well by the critics.

Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi:

The new age entertainer released amidst huge expectations as the director, Tharun Bhascker previously scored a blockbuster, Pelli Choopulu. This buddy comedy is made on a low budget and may end up with small profits.

Mehabooba:

Everyone expected Puri Jagannadh to make a solid comeback with this movie which had his son Akash in the lead role. Sadly the movie did not meet the expectations laid on it and ended up as a failure.

Naa Nuvve:

Kalyan Ram tried romantic genre for the first time in his career and the attempt misfired badly. The trailers looked promising and fresh but that was not the case with the final output.

Jamba Lakidi Pamba:

Star comedian Srinivas Reddy tested his luck with this comedy entertainer which had nothing new to offer to the viewers. The movie opened to a negative talk and did not last long.
